You and three opponents play god with the lives of those trapped in a pit from which there is no escape. We are all just pawns of the Gods after all. Multiplayer also : ; ; ; No
A clever concept for how to achieve the conquest victory condition of destroying all your enemies. Basically set up so you have to fight two wars, one for resources so you can age, and a second one, involving different forces, to attain victory. Playing map is well-designed given the purpose of the scenario, although it is not at all natural. Play balance is quite good; human player can lose if not careful and quick. As stated in the authors description, use of and defense against priests is key. Despite the good points, there are some weaknesses: no cinematics or special .ai, .per or .cty files, no instruction map (which would have been both helpful and more fair). Takes a long time to figure out how you must win, because strategic aspects of terrain are not easy to assess. Written instructions are straightforward, but not compelling.
