In 559 BC, Persia was but a petty chiefdom in the outskirts of great empires around Mesopotamia. Cyrus the Second ascended to the Persian throne and sought to change the status of his country - from an insignificant power into a mighty kingdom and make his people masters of all.
Lead the Persian forces against the Medians, the Babylonian Empire, the Kingdom of Israel, the Kingdom of Lydia, the Scythians and the Arabians and venture into the riches of Egypt (although historically, the Egyptians would be conquered by Cyrus' successor Cambyses II).
This scenario was originally part of my AOE DE campaign 'Empires of the Near East'. Due to its complexity spanning a large geographical area and its difficulty, I decided to upload it separately so you can challenge yourself against 7 AI opponents.
Take the reins of Persia and conquer all o' Great King!
