Had to remove the modified exe from my mod due to "somebody" not agreeing with creating mods with UPatch.

Requires UPatch: ""

See the change log provided for changes/updates.

Install instructions:

Place the Rise of the Empires folder in your UPatch mod directory.
(If you downloaded a newer version of the mod, delete the old version first before installing the new one.)

Open up the UPatch launcher and go to Mod Manager, then select 'Rise of the Empires from the drop down list.

Then click Play!

nnnele Looks good, with 7 new civilisations this is the biggest AOE mod so far... Other Upatched mods, such as Ancient Rivalries or Lost Empires, have more units (which can be used as additional or unique units for each civilisation, like in AOE2, or some can only be icon-changed with more power). I didn't find any new graphics for units, but slps from other games (dozens are on this site) can be implemented...
- Very nice civilisation selection, but some generated names should be renamed, if it is possible (like Shang and Zhou into Chinese; Yamato and Jomon into Nippon);
- Asian Far Eastern architecture can use Tibetan, or some steppe cavalry cultures like Jurchen and Mongol;
- Middle Eastern civilisations can be Median (Kurds), Parthian (Sogdians), Bactrian (Kushan), Sabaean (Yemen);
- Etruscans are presented good, but they are still mysterious today, it is said that they came out from city of Troy after destruction...

Best regards, and modify more civilisations please, if it is possible.

Thanks for your feedback. If I have the time, I might have a look into modifying the other civilizations, but at at the mean time, the mod will be as it is until I have more time to work on it :-)

@Bl4cKst0rM Thank you for letting me know. I don't know how (or why) I didn't remember reading that bit on the UPatch website, but I have removed the exe and any mention of it in my mod.
Bl4cKst0rM You're welcome. I only wanted that you don't have problems.

Another thing: I'm working on big mod, and I found out that we have similar civilizations. Such as Slavs and Etruscans. Note that I am Czech and Czechs are Slavs, so that I have full rights to include my beloved nation Slavs to mod.

Slavs also is always dated to medieval age in other games (such as AoE 2), because they founded in fifth century, but fifth century still belongs to ancient times - until 476. So we have similar good ideas.

Bl4cKst0rM Coincidence? My mod (in works) have Heavy Chariot Archer and Catapult Tower.

Gaul was my idea too. You can rename Gauls to Celts if you want.

I not steal things from your mods.

With all these similarities and coincidences between our mods we might as well just combine them into one mod or something, although that may not be a good idea :-D

I will respect your mod of course :-) but I actually removed the Gauls in version 2 of my mod (i did this before you commented) and also some other civilisations and replaced them with other ones. I might add the Celts in later on when I have time.
Sudipto fix the opponents. they easily die of alligator and lion :/

Your going to have to be more specific. I don't know what you mean by just "they easily die by alligator and lion"
