This is a campaign i just wanted to try out.
You are Tiberius, a General and soon to be ruler, But of what you yet have no idea.
Your closest friend has allied with your most hated enemy, and destroyrd your lands.
You have however escaped, and are looking for a safe haven to re group with the few
remaining people you know of.
Can you find a place?
Can you re build?
Thanks to Aoeheavn, for the great material and all the campaigns, and how to's
they have there.
And Thanks to the great campaign writers there that inspire people today to still try and
share something and do better.
Ihad to redo the ending scenario, but it is fixed now.
sorry for any inconvenience this has caused. |

Best is you write an email to Phill Phree, he might be able to fix it.
(his email address can be found somewhere on the site I'm sure) |

Use the update form rather than posting a new submission. I haven't done it before myself but there's a place where you can update the existing scenario. You can get the moderators to delete this version, just ask on the forums or email.[Edited on 06/16/05 @ 05:54 PM]

Ah, I see what you do now. You use the "Edit" button at the top of the page, as if you were going to edit the message for your campaign. Open this area up in your previous submission and you will find you can change all the details, including even the name. Here it also allows you to upload a new file. |

Playability: 4
The campaign has a range of challenges in each of the 5 scenarios. Generally a mix of Fixed Force and Build and Destroy missions, the campaign begins with a dash to find Amon Ra, where you must explore for reinforcements and use them efficiently to get the artifact out of the Alexandrian town. The rest has a strong B&D flavour, along with the odd FF, defending, and puzzle parts.
Balance: 4
I found all the missions fairly difficult. The 4th scenario was the easiest, but required use of the right units, and you had to look in the right area. The second mission is very hard if you lose your catapults, so I would recommend keeping them. Here I found using the enemy catapults to hit their own elephants a good technique. In the 3rd scenario I had a lot of difficulty finding a way to get to Alexander, and get him out. The enemy kept building those damn centurions, but I found a place where I could wall up and sneak in, and managed to use bowmen and the elephants as a good distraction. In the last mission I figured out where Xerxes was using the screenshot, which was like a little puzzle in itself. Overall a well balanced mission, but too hard at times, and may be a little hard for many players.
Creativity: 4
There is quite a bit of creativity in the campaign's varying objectives. Conversion is used well, and often you must not kill an enemy leader, which is tricky. The gameplay is also unique sometimes, like in the mission where you must find the town center and you have to play the two enemies off against each other.
Map Design: 3
This is the weakest area of the campaign. The maps look a little too rough, and very "terrain brush" style. For example a cliff with the water going up to the top part as well, cliffs that are cut off (deleted), or on elevation, and too much use of the same forest. Try looking at some of the more recent campaigns e.g. Andrea's ones, and visit the forums to post some screenshots of future design so we can give you advice.
Story/Instructions: 4
The story here is detailed, original and has a good development and ending. The writing though is a little hard to read - not so much the spelling and grammar but how it is layed out. You seem to start each sentance on a new line, and don't leave a line between say the story and objectives. Also, bitmaps are quite rough. Three points of advice there - Use white for text, some of the text is in sort of a brown colour that is hard to read over some parts. Second, make the screenshot fit in the map by cropping it. Some go well outside the area, while others are too small. Thirdly, black is transparent in bitmaps. Make all the shadows a near balck colour, and use black where needed for an eraser. Again, we can give you more details of this on the forums.
Overall: 3.8
Another good campaign by a new designer, good to see. I liked the campaign, but it may prove difficult at times for some players. |
