Playability: 3
You rove around with your priests on a random map, converting up "Rivals" to get stronger and defeat the pagans in their temple. You are also alowed to build up, which kind of kills this experience. This is very good practice for those wanting to get practice with priests, and if you like using priests, this is one for you. Not bad and is fun for one play.
Balance: 1.8
Really a bit too easy... Everything is solved by massing priests. I built up without too much problems, although red does hack at you a bit. You build priests, and convert each of the rival temples... From there, you attack the pagan "castle" and retrieve and artifact, as well as blotting out a temple. All you have to do here is convert antything the enemy throws at you and you're fine. Perhaps a bit too easy---way too easy.
Creativity: 2
I like the variation in the objectives and the use of priests, but that's about it. The abscense of a true story and map background, and any sort of challenge whatsoever, sort of leaves this one in the dust when it comes to orginality.
Map Design: 2.5
A decent random map---with oldness handicap.
Story/Instructions: 1.8
Not good enough. A couple clearly written lines that provide the story and instructions, and a couple hints. It gives a decent impression on the scenario, but there is simply not enough here.
Additional Comments: Your decision on download. Probably not a bad download choice to those who have just bought AoE and aren't too skilled with priests...
This scenario isn't quite developed balance-wise but could at the very least provide some good practice with priests.
