This scenario is about the entire history of rome. I did a map of Europe for the map you use and it has 7 of Rome's historic enemys. Multiplayer also : ; ; ; No
Pretty nifty scenario. You, as Rome, start with about 20 Legions, a couple of Centurions, a few Improved Bowmen, 3 peons and about 6 ships. You're surrounded by strong enemies, have no city worth mentioning and have no resources in Italy except wood. Conquer nearby enemies to get scattered gold and stone - or perish!! The strat that worked for me was immediate offensive, which cost me almost all my original land force, then colonize like crazy. This lines up well with the Victory Conditions, which include establishing a few cities in certain places and building a Wonder in Italy - which I had to recolonize from my main base in North Africa. Nicely-drawn terrain map of the Mediterranean Basin. No intro map, basic story and instructions. Only real flaw is a VC to build 50 Legions, which means deleting all your other units after you build your Wonder - a little hokey. Nevertheless, quite fun to play and worth a download.
