The first mod for Return of Rome has entered our Granary - Wow! This looks incredible! I have seen a few screenshots of this Reskin mod a few days ago on discord, which looked very impressive, but you really need to experience it in-game. Man, this is mouth-watering, especially if you are a fan of the original game graphics:

All the original unit animations are there, as well as the original terrains and resources which look suprisingly good in Return of Rome! Leave it to the Age community to continually improve upon the games we love. Timoteus and the other fans involved have done an amazing job and you should download the Reskin mod now if you haven't done so. Fantastic mod.

Looks great! Terrain looks much better than in original RoR.

You can purchase and download age of empires definitive edition which includes the rise of Rome expansion from the windows app store, it works fine on windows 10. The original version works on windows 10 too if you can get the discs even though it's almost 20 years old. There is an obvious difference in the quality of the graphics but at the time the graphics was so much better than the competing RTS games of the time such as StarCraft and total annihilation.

Guys, I have done everything as explained at the instructios on the mod download page and yet the mod does not appear on the list... Have you encountered any problems? Thanks in advance.

Place the entire directory in

C:\Users\USERNAME\Games\Age of Empires 2 DE\ABUNCHOFNUMBERS\mods\local\

then enable the mod in the Mods section (gear on main menu).
