About the Scenario This is the story of Exodus: how a people returned to their faith, were freed from bondage, and formed a nation in a promised land. It is the story of Joseph, who saved Egypt from famine; of Moses, who liberated his people from slavery; and of Joshua, the conqueror who delivered a land for his people. The struggles and triumphs of these men would be remembered for millennia and give strength to untold generations. This is their story...

Approved. Congratulations on creating another well crafted and stunning campaign.
♚Lost Empires Mod♛ Maybe it's only a fool who'll perilously journey out to what might not be there. But if you want to solve problems, you don't just solve the ones that are there, you find more and make more and go after the impossible ones. The neanderthals never ventured into the unknown and they went extinct, so who are the fools?

Nice work my dude! I really like the way those obelisks align symmetrically when you place out GovCts and Temples. That never looked quite as smooth in the original game did it?

Thank you, Fisk. Nope, it did not look anywhere near as smooth in AoE/RoR because the Temple's obelisks were actually smaller than the Government Center's and they were aligned differently. Town Centers and their obelisks also look much better fitting now in DE (you can see it in the top right of the first screenshot where they match well with the Temple and Gov't Center).
Credit goes to the art team at Forgotten Empires for really working hand-in-hand with the Campaign team and giving consideration to how the scenario design community likes overlapping buildings, off-grid placement, etc. This was well-executed for AoE: DE but also has been a factor in the design of buildings for African Kingdoms and Rise of the Rajas DLCs for Age2 HD. For example, all the African buildings have similar architectural features in the same places so they are easy to overlap seamlessly into bigger structures and building layouts. It's all been a kind of unheralded benefit for the scenario design community. I hope in time, scenario designers for AoE: DE start using this to their advantage as well.

Are the tall and narrow "Tuscany" trees a new thing?
Amazing screenshots by the way, makes me want to play this game again. With the new version.

Yes. There are several new trees in Age of Empires Definitive Edition. The old pine/oak/palm types have additional trees each and new Mesopotamian and Mediterranean trees were added. Those are cypresses from the Mediterranean forest set.

Thank you.

I made a Let's Play of the first scenario of this custom campaign. During the video, I talk history and just barely win my own scenario! Check it out and let me know what you think!
