Heya fellas was just checking out this heavily AoE inspired game called Ferticle Crescent (gameplay video)
As some commentators pointed out the game is similiar to AoE to the extent I would fear legal action if placed on steam for sale, but it seems somewhat interesting. The question is does it advance the gameplay while retaining the old AoE spirit or is it merely a derivative work not able to stand on its own? Also been compared to AoE Online which isnt promising.
Was wondering if any of you fellas played both AoE Online and Fertile Crescent and what you think of it. I am interested and will try it out as I desire an AoE1 with a bit more modern quality of life features although the graphics are not so great, although I dont mind them, reminds me of simcity2000 a bit.
"Excellent could be any map that has the quality of a ES random map or ES scenario. AoK is an excellent, award winning game. That's where I'd start." -AnastasiaKafka
"Hard work is evil. Bitmaps are stupid. Working on a scenario for more than one afternoon is stupid. Triggers are stupid. Testing your own scenario is stupid. The world is stupid. You are the Greatest." -Ingo Van Thiel
