If you feel like contributing to the largest AoE community on the web, you are welcome to join the team! There are is an open slot for anyone interested in becoming a moderator. The candidates will be evaluated by the Staff.
The moderator candidate requires (these are musts and are not negotiable):
- Excellent conduct here in the forums: that means you have never been banned and have demonstrated that your behavior is mature enough.
- Being a regular: This is a must, and speaks for itself.
- Being a reliable source of AoE/RoR knowledge: Because it makes no sense to have someone in the staff who doesn't even know what is a trireme. It doesn't mean you must be an encyclopedia, but at least you know what are we talking about here in the forums.
- Must own both AoE and RoR, and preferrably AoE: Definitive Edition.
Specific tasks involved are:
- Governing the Forums. Make sure forumers behave, and use thread options like stickying and closing a topic when needed.
- Administrating the Granary. This involves quick-playtesting (not actually playing!) scenario's, campaigns, and making sure contents are compliant with the CoC before approving a submission.
Privileges:
- Blessed with cool moderation features.
- Your own personal ban-hammer.
- First to play new Granary submissions.
- An awesome green colored name.
- Ability to post news.
- And more...

Just common sense and knowledge of the game applies I guess. We would love to have another member being passionate about the game and site who can help us out a bit! Anyone is welcome to apply.
