Very good points from Peter and Blitz.
On the news issue, I'm with Peter on that. It will be the visitors who keep it active not developments in the game, and if they are prepared to do that then I have no problem with overseeing a forum, chat room, whatever.
When myself and Augy chatted last night I was quite hot about not having stuff on the navbar we didn't have or wouldn't be putting on. If there is a link to it then it will have stuff there for it.
To answer your question Blitz, yes, as far as I am concerned, at least, the site will stay current, I imagine that some things won't get updated every single day and that sooner or later we may run out of new things for some parts but then so does everyone else - the Academy here is a good example, but remember also that sometimes there's only so much you can say ;-) There will be an EE Manor as well, run as a separate site, which then leaves it down to each webmaster to keep it on the pulse, the idea is to represent both games (and possibly others) equally and, if the rate Augy is working at is anything to go by, we won't be short of content or interest. And maybe finally we'll lose all those annoying jerks with the attention span and imagination of a dead gnat who think because a game has a sequel we all have to drop the original. Peasants ;-)
It's all early days, first thing is to get something up and running and then hopefully that will impress them enough to host it for us. It's a bit like doing a presentation at the moment, first impressions and all that jazz, so give us a couple of weeks (work, school etc) and wish us luck. And thanks also to everyone who wants to help - we may well take you up on that as soon as we have some more good content together ;-)
