You are quickly sent to South Korea where you land unopposed. However you know a horse archer patrol is coming soon. You can either hide on the beaches, in the forets or in the town.

It's a case of both sides waiting in ambush. Those archers were also waiting in the forest to ambush you and there is a terrible fight. However there horses get find the forest hard to get through and you kill them relatively easily. You can then burn down the town or keep going.

Yay, promotion!

Now I hope that the Canticii city is still standing...

If so, I have an offer for the people who lived:

People of the Canticii, we will spare your lives, on the condition that you become part of our great civilisation.
10% of your total produce will go to us, your rulers.

Your army will be expected to become part of our army. If it does not, then both they and you will all die.

I'll also see if the Brigantes want to join an alliance.

Well done! You've learnt how to rejeuveate better and to convert all slow non ranged units. You are sent south where someone is attacking your peninsula for some converting.

You find that there is no fortress. The towers are just their to delay you before the 3rd Infantry Army and the 2nd Priest Army arrive.

Phil
The Brigantes hate the Angastii and so want to just wage war anyway. You meanwhile have been called to France to try and broker an alliance between some tribes. They've been arguing who gets to keep the town just outside Paris on the bank of the River Seine. (You make the names up.)

Good news is that the nearest town is helping the Han in the rebellion against Korea and is welcoming to you. Bad news is Centurion is in the 2nd Priest Army.

Centurion
Your army is being escorted by some scythe chariots from the 1st Cavalry Army and together with the 3rd Infantry Army, you are heading south over some plains. You however are diverted by another Han landing believed to be another Armed Scout Group. You head east to Pusan Bay.

Just as that is sorted out Tribe B attacks Tribe A's part of Paris. They are annoyed and burn down all the granaries in Tribe A's half. Tribe A respond by burning down the remaining granaries. As a war is brewing, a Roman legion is rumoured to be coming north...

The 2nd Priest Army including Centurion has 100 priests, the 3rd Infantry Army has around 4000 men and the 1st Cavalry Army has 250 scythe chariots and 100 cataphracts.

You have only 400 men. The other armed scout groups have 500, 300 and 300 men. You have 1500 altogether. So you need to get a plan. The town want to stay neutral.

Phil
Tribe B are allies with your allies and you allies refuse to attack. The battle over Paris deepens when Tribe B surround a town belonging to Tribe A.

The legion is over 300 miles south-east. They are around the Alps.

Duan
It's a lot more comical than that. The towers thought that the approaching cavalry were Han and fell trees to block the path. The fired down on them causing panic. The ditch of yours is still there but the Korean towers destroyed the cavalry (and some of the scythe chariots impaled their own horses). Now the priests and infantry have been delayed as they clear the path.

This has given you time to get all the advance parties together where you are. Tomorrow the cream of the Han army will arrive, the Heavy Cavalry Army and the 1st Engineer Core will land on the south tip.

Meanwhile, the Romans have turned East into the Pyrennees. You are lucky, the Romans were just heading into Spain to fight the Carthaginians.

This means that the Choson swordsmen will get to your position a few hours before the Han army. Should you retreat?
