And they are exactly the ones you've always dreamt of using in AoE. Not even kidding here, this is seriously the best thing to ever happen in the history of the AoE Scenario Design community. Maybe even in the history of Age of Empires! You can now spawn a unit wherever you please, even custom defined units like heroes. Or change who owns a unit at a specific point in the game. Sounds familiar? If you have played Age of Kings, it might. Because this exactly the same thing! Imagine all the possibilities that can be done with these new options. Who doesn't want to use triggers to enhance their works?

Here is an overview of some the new features:
- Get triggers documentation directly in CustomizeAOE menu (this will create a HTML file on the folder you select) => up-to-date documentation guaranteed!
- Create triggers samples from customizeAOE for easier understanding.
New triggers:
- Create unit definitions (similar to adding units in AGE3): copy an existing unit model and customize some properties (total HP, LOS, speed...) (only living units at this point, but I'll remove this limitation soon)
- Ability to create (spawn) units - including triggers-added units definitions (=> you can create custom heroes)
- Change unit ownership ! (see "modify_unit" parameters->owner_player_id)
On top of that, unit restrictions can be removed on-the-fly as well, and even changing terrains in-game. If you are still baffled on how to use triggers and want help, or simply want to discuss them, you can do sohere.
