When I'm tired of managing
my economy etc. I like to play a death match against 7 computer
players - everyone starts at iron and the comp players are allied
with each other. I set the victory condition to Conquest so I don't
have to worry about artifacts, ruins or wonders.
As soon as the game starts, I type "Convert this!" in the Chat box,
put it in the Clipboard and keep hitting Enter - Ctrl-V - Enter
until my TC is surrounded by lightning-commanding Priests.
It doesn't take long before the enemies start pouring in with HHA's,
heavy cats, helepoli, armored elephants, whatever. The sky fills
with lightning and the ground is filled with skeletons. The enemy
cats kill my Priests too, so I just keep creating more and more of
them. Once in a while I have to tell my 3 villagers to repair my TC
because it got hit by a stone.
That is all I do - clone St. Francis again and again and watch them
inflict the wrath of God unto the attacking infidels. Also, I listen
to Wagner opera while doing this.
When things calm down I build 50 legions and a half dozen heavy cats
and mow through the map.
I also like variations with machine-gun toting babies or photon men.
