Author File Description
Gordon Farrell and Alexan
File Details
Number of Scenarios: 4
Difficulty: Mod-Hard
In 332 B.C. Alexander the Great controlled all of Greece, Asia Minor, and Palestine. With the official surrender of the Persian authorities in Egypt, the Eastern Mediterranean was now entirely his. All that remained was to march into Egypt and occupy the Nile KIngdom... Easier said than done. In this four scenario campaign, you will be faced with the problem of occupying and pacifying the land of the pharaohs. Expect wild desert peoples, dissident priests, and treacherous Nile crossings to number among the obstacles awaiting you. Conquering a kingdom is one thing. Controlling it is quite another. Created by Gordon Farrell in New York and Alexander Michael in Macedonia. We hope you enjoy!

In 332 B.C. Alexander the Great marched into Egypt to occupy the Nile Kingdom. You are Alexander and that is your goal. The 4 scenarios are all played out on the same map with different objectives. The objectives are varied, hard and incredibly fun. You even have to guess a riddle. Instructions are accurate and the story is intriguing. Instruction maps are also very accurate. You have limited amounts of villagers and resources and have to use the resources you have wisely or you will lose, so balance is great. The scenarios variy in length and toughness, but not one should be taken easy. All in all, it is a another great campaign from a great author(s).

I enjoyed this campaign very much. It's very accurate. In the second and third scenario was were I had more difficulty. In the second one, you had to be very fast, in order to win it. [ I played them all on moderate ]

Balance: 5
I have nothing to say for balance. the rate says it all.

Creativity: 4.5
I could never do a campaign like this. I guess I am a noob, but I think my works are constatly improving.

Map Design: 5
The map design is excellent. I guess you had a lot of work doing this didn't you guys??

Story/Instructions: 5
The story is the correct one and the instructions are given clearly. The bitmaps have also the information you need to know.

Additional Comments:
I don't know how the hell you manage to do this, but, for my opinion, this campaign is excellent.
