A great campaign from a great designer. This work of art is truly a joy to play. It is meticulously crafted, right down to the last detail. The creativity in this campaign is astounding, utilizing many complex puzzles, and fully stretching the strategic capabilities of Age of Empires in ways that I have never before seen. You need to have a good undertanding of the intricate details of AoE if you want to have any chance at this campaign. I will not give anything away here, but take my advice: you will want to thoroughly study the tech tree, especially before attempting the third level. It took me MANY tries before I could get the first part of this level right, and I still have not beat it, although I have tried for many hours. The playability is very good, and it is a very fun campaign to play. This campaign was rather hard - maybe a little too hard in some parts. Often, the only chance you will have is to work very quickly at the beginning. The story/instructions are very well done, and are enhanced by beautiful instruction maps. All the terrain is very well done, and much attention was paid to the little details, making this a very nice-looking campaign. It's one of the most creative I have ever seen. Try it out -you won't be sorry.
