Robin and Richard is a wonderful campaign where you take on the role of Robin Hood and his merry men through a series of three adventures. The stories are nicely written and the victory conditions are detailed and creative. Most of the time you chase down the enemy with a horde of composite bowmen since you are limited to Tool Age. Fortunately, you have the Minoan composite bowmen so you can take care of pretty much anything that comes by with the proper upgrades. In general, the playability was excellent with some puzzles to figure out along with some good limited build up scenarios. However, it was hurt slightly by the fact you are never really in danger as a player. It is true that some scenarios limit your gold supply but you can get quite a few composite bowmen out of 800 gold (40 to be exact). If you are patient, you will win without any problems. At times it became tedious as well, taking down tower after tower with compies. This also affected the balance score. The creativity was fabulous both in victory conditions, resource placement, puzzles and pathways. Excellent work here. The maps were also wonderfully done. The instructions each featured nicely drawn bitmaps to help you on your journey. This is worth a download and you can really tell the author put a lot of work into this one. Excellent job!
