Curtis' Deduction

Author File Description
Curtis
File Details
Difficulty: Mod-Hard
This is a confusing puzzle scenario, you enter the daunting lyberinth with a small garrison of men, which must be used to overcome numerous traps and puzzles which must be done periodically if success is possible. This scenario was not made for beginners, I recommend that you know what your doing fairly well before trying this scenario. If you have awhile to sit, think and mutter to yourself that this scenario is impossible, then give it a try. Can you solve this intreging paradox? Multiplayer also : No

Fine piece of work. Clever puzzles use some of AoE's most arcane design tricks. Only one nice-looking town, but's that's not the point - solving the puzzle is. Good balance. You can walk into some traps which will overwhelm you, but that just means you took the wrong path. Some challenges along your route you must actually overcome; others are distractors to lead you to wrong decisions or waste your time. Things are not always as they appear. Some key decisions, whose consequences aren't felt 'til quite late in the game, have to be made very early. You will have to be very aggressive, very good and very lucky to win this first time thru. Well worth the download, although it might drive you nuts!
