Chinese Chess by Rob Liu was by far the best scenario I have downloaded from Age of Heavens so far. It had a geat battle, interesting land features, and an interesting story. It stood out among the other huge battle scenarios by a longshot.

Style: Fixed Force

Map: Pitched battle with river running between 2 players
Playability: 3
Quite fun, and as you would expect, has a chess-style feel. You have a large force set out in small groups and are requried to kill the enemy "king" unit (whilst protecting your own).
Balance: 3
Some difficulty in moving across the map keeping all units in check but the real challenge is to kill the enemy king unit without having your king killed.
Creativity: 4
Chess idea implemented into a AoE map! Possibly an early form of the regicide games on AoK.
Map Design: 3
Basics are ok, with the river being the boundary between 2 forces (and most likely location of some conflict).
Story/Instructions: 3
AVI, BMP and other files included, but the instructions contain grammar and spelling mistakes (although the general instructions are clear).
Additional Comments:
If you are keen on chess then I would say download.
