Author File Description

File Details
Difficulty: Moderate
You are Hercules, legendary hero of ancient Greece. After killing your wife and children in a drunken rage, you must make a pilgrimage to the Oracle at Delphi to determine your restitution to humanity and the Gods. You must prove yourself worthy by making this dangerous trek through jungle, swamp and river, through mountains, avoiding or conquering natural, human and divine obstacles to reach the famed Oracle. Upon reaching the Priest at the Oracle at Delphi, you will learn the manner of your penance. For your crimes, you have been given little aid to begin - a scout and a raft. Many of your former Greek friends now wish to end your life as punishment for your crimes. Those few still loyal to you are now in hiding. In addition, several of the Goddesses - Hera, Athena and Aphrodite consider your acts an outrage to women and have taken it upon themselves to stop you by transforming into formidable opponents. Zeus, your father, has realized your plight and has offered the help of Apollo and Mercury to help balance the divine scales. This scenario is the first of a series comprising The Labors of Hercules. The Labors of Hercules - Journey to the Oracle at Delphi is a puzzle-type scenario in which you must get through a huge forrest aided by a scout and the few allies that you find along the way. Although the puzzles were a little less challenging than some of the ones that I've played I found this scenario very enjoyable. Weak enemies waited in the trees to slowly eat away Jason's health. Saving constantly is a good idea, since going down the wrong path (as you will probably find yourself doing a lot) can inflict terrible losses. A good scenario instruction map was included with the scenario, along with a good story and instructions. This is a very good scenario overall for those of you who aren't overly fond of combat and have the patients to figure out the puzzles.
Ilya Kaudzi This is amazing!!! I had also ideas about the labours of Hercules. But it all boils down, in what game desired new units. How to add them , at least one I don't know.
Maybe together, we can do something. Please email me if you are interested in my ideas.
