The year is 320 BC. You are Jason, a Spartan General who was imprisoned by the evil Egyptians after they razed your homeland 10 years ago. After spending several years in an island prison camp off the Greek coast, you have managed to steal a longsword from one of the guards. You are now ready to escape and free Greece from Egyptian opression.
"The Curse of Ra 2 -Kill or be Killed" is probably the model for an average campaign. I liked the map for the most part, (I am very fond of shallows) and the author used cliffs and elevation productively. Most of the scenarios also included a nice amount of challenge, without making things too difficult. The concept was not extremely creative, but it does feature some innovative scenarios. The story is where the campaign really shines. I enjoyed the way the main character slowly grew from a prisoner into the conquerer of Egypt. Unfortunately, a few errors in the instructions caused the scenario to receive only an average score in this area. Still, the mistakes were not major enough to warrent an automatic 1 in my mind.
