This is quite an extreme scenario. Each side has a large army. Player one has to capture the artifact (after defeating a huge army) and bring it back to the town center while player 2 is after player 1's Wonder. Hope you enjoy! Multiplayer also : Yes
The author has put a lot of work into this map. You have a tremendous army on an island right across the wall from another tremendous army on the same island. The author has just about used up every single tile on the map placing units. Unfortunately this reminds us of the saying, when you find yourself at the bottom of a hole, stop digging.
I tried playing this for a while. Once again P1 is Greek which means no cav arch, my favorite unit. However in tight quarters like this island, cav arch aren't that useful. I managed to get some of my forces deployed where they were most useful, after starting with most of them not protecting my shoreline from enemy catareme attacks.
The designer has kindly provided us with 99,999 of everything and some villies so I started building towers everywhere. Strangely enough, he hasn't given us a priest to heal anybody, and we can't build one because we are several hundred units over our pop cap.
I started to move my vast navy and discovered they were Flying Dutchmen! OK, that's over the top for me, I don't play with fleets of cheat units. I bailed out at that point and got the encouraging Loss message, "you suck".
You might download this if you want to try a totally massive battle and don't want to spend half an hour placing hundreds and hundreds of units yourself. Or not.
