The invasion of Traytusia is almost complete. All that remains is the capital city of Traytus. You will lead a small detachment of troops to set up a small camp from which additional troops can be trained. After the camp construction is well under way, you will participate in the final siege of Traytus. Multiplayer also : ???
This is an enjoyable scenario with a nice map but the gameplay isn't as intense as it could be. I played on hardest and won with no problems even though I felt my tactics were poor at times. I enjoyed the siege but my overwhelming Post-Iron Age force had a definite advantage. Once the towers are down, the game is a breeze. There needed to be a lot more ground troops to attack my cats to make this one really interesting. The story behind the scenario was decent except building a town center was totally useless - it was the only building I built although in hindsight, a siege workshop with an upgrade to heavy cats would've been nice. The computer needed to be more aggressive against my priest hero also - he was never attacked with any real effort - I just left my original force and the priest back at my town center and he was perfectly safe. My favorite part of the scenario was the forest I rode through to get to the fortress. I liked how the bushes, trees and gazelle were spread out realistically instead of bunched in groups like you normally see in scenarios. The effect of an old path fading away was very nice too. It just felt a lot more natural. The city design was very well also. So, this one comes up a little short on gameplay but the map was strong.
