This fiction based Sceanario has you the Spartans fighting both the Mongols and Athens. Its a Large map and every inch of the map is covered with either road or buildings and water of course. You can attack threw all land or water or both if u like and theres the Great Mongol Sea Wall to fight on too. I mainly made this map for the overall map desighn then gameplay. but the gameplay still is good in my opion. Right away the enemy will have 3 wonders and lots of artifacts and lots of guys. But its possible to take out the wonders and get some of the artifacts in under 5 minutes if u do everything right. This map took me a lot of hard work to make and i hope u have a good time destroying my map. And plz look at the map after u beat it, with the no fog and reveal map just so u can look around. Dont use the snenario editor to look at it for obvious reasons. I love looking at the guys going threw the Great Wall i just wish i could make tunnels underneath the Wall. enoughe of my writing just engoy my map! Multiplayer also : ???
This scenario begins with a bang but fades into boredom as it drags on. Three wonders exist at the start of the game which must be destroyed within 2000 years. In addition, the computer captures all the artifacts pretty quickly so you need to deal with that too. Fortunately, you can handle these early troubles with your Post-Iron Age juggernaughts. After you manage to take down the wonders and grab an artifact, it becomes a standard victory condition game. Even though the instructions say that you need conquest plus capturing the artifacts, since standard victory conditions are turned on, you don't need to do both. Nonetheless, this scen gets pretty dull since you have enough resources to build a massive army and enough defenses to ward off any attack. So, you just build whatever troops you like and kick butt. The map is nicely designed but way too square to feel like a real location. Decent job.
