A four player game that allows for two humans and two computer opponents or one human and three computers. There is water present and enough fish to make even Doug happy. You really need to find your access points and set a good perimeter. But do not hide too long or you will never catch up. The temples have been disabled, so you'll have to find something else to spend your gold on. Singleplayer also : yes
This is a 4 player standard victory condition scenario with a Stone Age start and default resources. Temples are disabled for all players. The map features a square of water which goes somewhat close to each player. Cliffs section off each player to their respective corners and the only way to reach another player is by the river. I really like the idea behind this map but it's not implemented as good as it could've been. The center of the map, inside the river, contains quite a few gold and stone mines which will eventually play a large part of the game. The problem is that yellow has direct access to the center while the other three players are cut off by cliffs. There are no shallows so even yellow needs to transport across the river but the cliffs are arranged such that transporting villagers to the center is not easy. It would be better if yellow was sectioned off just like the other three players and even more resources were concentrated in the center of the map. This would lead to much more interesting gameplay in the long run. Even so, this is a very nice scenario.
