This scenario is designed for 2-player head to head. The two sides of the map are divided by a river with only one crossing point, which also includes a ruin. Either side of the crossing is hilly land to make the bridge easier to defend. Singleplayer also : yes
This is a 2 player, standard victory condition scenario with a Tool Age start and medium resources. The map features a river that divides the map into two equal sides. There is one wide shallows area that connects the two sides and docks are disabled. In the center of the shallows is the only ruin on the map. Obviously, the river crossing will showcase many heated battles over control of the ruin, so each player should attempt to control the area as soon as possible. I really like the idea and the map is nicely designed with plenty of resources, a balanced start and no straight lines. The only suggestion for improvement would be to make a couple of back doors to get across the river - maybe shallows on the sides of the map or put cliffs across the river and give each player a dock away from the center area. The strategy would be improved if the players need to worry about more than one spot. Otherwise, great job - should be a lot of fun!
