This map consists of four connecting continents with a central island rich in stone and gold. Each of the four players starts on one of the continents with sufficient resources. Nonetheless, controlling the middle island would be a significant advantage.Singleplayer also : yes
This is a 4 player, standard victory condition scenario with a Stone Age start and default resources. The map design is excellent with the classic multiplayer goal of reaching the riches at the center of the map first. The center area is an island that requires a transport to reach. Each player starts in a corner with rivers dividing them from other players, although there are shallows to allow land based interaction. Four artifacts are scattered around the map. Obviously, with these style maps, the goal is to control the center which will give you the economic edge and hence, the military edge. The only problem I saw was that the author forgot to give one player any shore fishing. Otherwise, this is a great scenario!
