- Mauryans bonus changed to Fisherman & Fishingboats working 20% faster
- Enabled Chariot, Scythe Chariot, Chariot Archer for Mauryan use.

Initial Release:
- Added Light Cavalry (Scout with increased attack, hit points, line of sight and speed)
- Added Heavy Camel Rider (Camel Rider with increased attack, melee armor, hit points and line of sight.)
- Added Trainable Mercenary (Acts exaclty like the mercenary in the scenario editor, cost 100 gold made in the academy)
- Added Crossbowman (Bowman with increased attack, melee armor, piercing armor,
- Added Trader (Works exactly like Trade Boats, though on
land and between the Market and Trade workshop)
- Added Merchant (Works like Merchant Ships, though on
land and between the Market and Trade workshop)

- Added Atlanteans
- Villagers work 20% faster
- Full Tech. Tree
- Villagers cost 60 food
- Added Celtics
- Woodcutters work 20% faster
- Infantry move 20% faster
- Ballista, Scorpio, Stone Thrower, Catapult and Heavy Catapult fire 25% faster
- Added Etruscans
- Gold Miners work 20% faster
- Chariots move 20% faster
- Hoplites, Phalanx and Centurion attack 30% faster
- Added Mauryans
- Villagers work 12.5% faster
- Infantry, Scout, Light Cavalry, Camel Rider, Heavy Camel Rider, Cavalry, Heavy Cavalry and Cataphract do +1 damage to buildings
- Priests move 20% faster
- Changed Helepolis to Scorpio
- Added a new bonus to Shang; Crossbowman fire 20% faster
- Added a new bonus to Assyria; Siege Weapons have +1 Pierce Armor
- Added New Heroes

Shang, Sumerian and Babylon now have a AI that uses the mod!! You can also make your own AI!!

To install mod, drag folder out of the .zip into the Mods directory. (Please make sure that upatch is installed)

It would be nice if you add some campaigns...

This mod has great ideas but struggling to implement them properly, the Death Match ai needs tweaking and the crossbowman is over powered, some of the civilizations are interest to say the less, especially Atlantean's, but the Mauryan's feel like a repeat of the Persians and the celtics like the romans. Other than those there seem to be no graphic problems and other problems, except for Shang's new bonus which increases the already over powered Crossbowman.

hey're are nice some nice ideas you just need to tweak it here there for balancing.

This mod is officially on hold. However, I feel I have made some poor choices regarding the mod and was thinking of rebooting it. If you want to add new civilizations you need to use CustomizeAOE or Upatch. If you are using Upatch, read this:

tanksarevictory how do you add the yellow glow around the camel riders unit icon? i have tried with the chariot archer (trying to make the heavy chariot archer) but the game crashes everytime the unit is selected in the editor and if the archery range is selected. i saved the .bmp in 256 color with the aoe1 palette, using photoshop cs5

EDIT: The icon now works, it was only the slp editor mucking up the bitmap, but i still want to know how to properly add the yellow glow around the units on the icon graphics

Hey tanksarevictory,

I used Gimp to edit create the background for the Camel Rider, and I also did it for the Scout, which doesn't look as nice. I did it free hand using the legion as a template on what colours to use for the background.

As to the other problem, I can't remember exactly, but that's caused by giving the image an outline using turtle pack.
