Playability: 2.5. Well it usually takes me about a week and a half to bronze, but starting with all these resources and four fishing boats already working, I bronzed in 7 1/2 minutes. Getting to Iron was harder because I can't find enough gold anywhere. However I'm sitting on my own homeland with no attacks from the enemy, which doesn't seem to want to build a navy, so I just gather resources, build my own navy, wipe out his towers, and then land on his island.
Balance: 1.5. The enemy is completely defensive, has no navy, and my jugs outrange his towers. When I finally finished my naval bombardment I went ashore with 10 villies and took out his entire city, wonder, and population with the 10 villies. They mostly just stood there and watched. The designer has set the Strat and Per to Random/Random, a fatal mistake which everyone made in those days.
Creativity: 2.5. There are actually some puzzle elements because this is a small map where I am crowded up everywhere and can't build a storage pit to collect gold, and can't build a jug to clear forests because I don't have enough gold. There are two possible solutions to this problem but I will leave them to the player. I used both of them.
Map: 2.5. Nice puzzle elements created by making it impossible to get enough gold at first.
Story etc.: 1.5. Barely a story, no hints.
Comments: Vaguely interesting download to figure out how to get more gold, but nothing that hasn't been done already in previous scenarios. NOTE: If you see the enemy has built a wonder, but it doesn't say you will lose if it stands for 2000 years, then the victory conditions are conquest or something that won't let the CP win by wonder.
