Based on the historical Batavian Revolt of 69 A.D you are put in the role of a Roman general ordered to crush the rebellion and re-establish Roman rule on the Rhine.
Playability: 5
Very playable. No problems. I guess it would be better if you could really come to aid the Batavians' village quicker. I don't know if it's possible to save their buildings by getting to them in time due to the circuitous routing. Maybe you could dig out the woods to the north of your base with villagers.
Balance: 4
A bit too easy. As long as you keep ferrying your guys over the river, you are unbeatable on MODERATE difficulty. But I do like missions that are easy enough.
Creativity: 5
Very creative story.
Map Design: 5
Good job showing a forest with paths and density.
Story/Instructions: 4.7
At first I didn't really get the connection in the HISTORY between Nero persecuting Christians, his desire to assert himself, and the campaign with the Batavians. Did Nero personally lead the campaign? I guess it's just saying that the dialogue with Paul motivated Nero to order the campaign.
Still, I did like the creativity and use of semi-historical background.
