- Microsoft Visual C++ redistributable libraries 2013
-- If not working: For Windows 10 you can try this link (from Microsoft too) : update for visual 2013 redist
-- For Windows 10 you can try installing this all-in-one installer instead (THANK YOU PhatFish).
- Rise of Rome expansion !
- Windows 10 users : If you experiment issues (e.g. RockNRor plugin does not seem to work well), run the game in compatibility mode (XP, or Win7)
-- To check is RockNRor is active, select a unit in-game and press F2 key. If a popup shows up, then RockNRor is active.

- RockNRorAdmin.Exe can install RockNRor plugin and change resolution (including copying necessary files) for you

Hi, you can try installing Microsoft Visual C++ redistributable 2013 (google it or use this link : https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/confirmation.aspx?id=40784)

Will this be made compatible with UPatch HD? |

Upatch seems to use a custom game executable (maybe self-patching, I don't even know), which makes impossible to guarantee a compatibility with any other mod that uses custom code.
ROR_API does nothing but provide a simple API to use "entry points" at any location in game code. More than 1 mod can use the same entry point.
CustomROR is just a plugin that uses ROR_API. My work does not modify/add any executable code in game EXE (except old obsolete work, part of it being used by UPatch)
For UPatch HD to be cumulative with customROR, it is UPatch that needs to be based on ROR_API, not the contrary.
Then compatibility with customROR should be automatic without any change on both sides.
There is nothing I can do on my side, except provide documentation (which I did a long time ago - yet I admit it is a bit light) and provide support if anyone has questions to use ROR_API.

Chab I can't seem to run this anymore because of Microsoft Visual C++ redistributable libraries 2013 not being compatible with windows 10 x64 architecture.
Is there any way to fix this? |

what does this file do exactly?
does it edit technology trees or what units a civilization can have? |

@PhatFish: there must be some installer for Win10 for C++2013 libraries, I don't have an environment to reproduce your issue :(
@Volume: yes the program can dynamically create a tech tree and civ bonus for each player (if option is enabled) at game startup, so that each game is unique !
And it is compatible with "custom" empires.dat files (if you added units, etchs, etc).
