Well Gumble did have a look at this campagin and it certainly had some selling aspects. (Liked the giant trees!) but it certainly has some weakness too. Basically the storyline specifically everytime one of the charcter's open their mouths sounds juvenial. Most people when they attack a jail don't speak like that, or even just in regular conversation.
the starting bitmap mural type thing was cool but there appears to be some sort of limpet stuck to the girls face. What is that?

All I can say about the bitmap is that it didn't turn out the way I wanted it too... I'm going to replace it soon, because I hate how it came out... Although I really still have to learn how to make them.
Yeah, the giant trees are the Elder Trees of the world this campaign takes place in, Selera, meaning that they are the oldest trees ever. I have absolutely no idea how that popped into my head, but i'm going to stick with it because it looks awesome in my opinion.
About the text, I have to admit that I'm not that skilled a writer yet. I still have a long ways to go. I guess my excuse for the main character could be that she is only 14, so she's bound to sound juvenial, but for the others, I have absolutely NO EXCUSE. If I could get tips on that, it would be great.
Thanks for the comment, Gumble, and I hope to see your thoughts on the finished product, which will feature the edited language.dll's I'm working on. Hopefully I'll have that up before 2011... |

Gumble could go into greater detail and discuss your campagin, Drakwith but Gumble simply doesnt' have the time what with the design competition going on at the moment. Language.dlls are always cool to add to a scenario. The best advice Gumble can offer to you is experience. Play all the highest scroing scenarios and campaigns of this site to get a good look about the sort of quality of work we deal around here. |

Legioniui- What are you talking about? I don't even know him.
I removed my comments. Are you happy now?[Edited on 01/12/10 @ 12:43 PM]

...If any of the moderators see this, please take all of Tonishegani's and Legioniui's comments off of this... They are not contsructive at all, they do not point out any flaws that I could work on (I know for a fact that I have good map designing skills but still need improvement), and they aren't even true! I know for a fact that there's only ONE BUG in the first scenario that will keep you from winning! That's all! Please, somebody get these hurtful comments off my campaign and spare me from my anger, because they suck by saying I suck...

Maybe this isn't the best place to post these posts, try the forum here at aoeh.
About the campaign, I think I will try this one later. Haven't got much time now but sooner or later I will play it.
Edit: Now I have played it and I must say some things is very cool. I especially liked that giant pine trees, also the bridges where nice.
In the first scenario I couldn't win even if I did exactly what I was supposed to. I just simply typed "home run" after about 5 tries.[Edited on 02/21/10 @ 12:07 PM]

Thanks for the feedback Basse.
Yes, I know about that bug in the first scenario... I didn't make the area where our three heroes needed to get to large enough... I did fix it though, so in the full version there won't be that problem. |
