LIONS OF KHAROUN
Jason pulled back the flap, and exited from his humble tent. Gathering up his walking cane and tattered priest's rags, he prepared himself for the task that lay ahead. The spirals of black smoke rising from the not distant temples served as a stark reminder of the price of failure.
For Jason, despite his current appearance, is not a visiting priest. He has been ordered by his excellency King Darius himself to retrieve the book of the Prophet from Kharoun's library. Jason smiles grimly, he relishes a challenge, but this task will not be simple. His men have been left at the border, lest they arouse suspicion. His sword likewise. He approaches the walled city state of Kharoun with caution, unarmed and defenceless. If only he could find himself an ally, his work might be made a little easier...
This is my first, and quite possibly last, AoE scenario. So forgive me the faults you may encounter. Due to my extreme lack of skill, this scenario is for the most part a puzzle. But that is not to say there won't be deaths and peril. I hope you enjoy this little offering, all comments and reviews will be warmly appreciated. |

Wow. This looks really good. Haven't had time to review it yet, too busy working on my own. City looks really good. And I like that trick of packing up your tent(If you download the pebble32 unicode editor you can change the name from trade workshop to tent). I look forward to reviewing it when I have the time. |

Thanks for your comment. I don't know how this measures up to the average, so I look forward to seeing your review sometime. |

Pretty much.
Well no, this was just an experiment. But I do recommend you reinstall AoE, quite apart from my effort there's some great and creative stuff here. |

Thanks, and by the way, I looked at Man of the East and it looks very interesting. I hope to see more by you. |

I was going to review this sooner, but my computer's saved games won't load anymore, so all my progress is lost. I'll see if I can play it without saving. |

Thanks very much for your review, and of course, the score! I am glad you enjoyed it.
Those issues you mention have really perplexed me, as I haven't encountered either. Still, I will look into them.
NB. If you have the latest multiplayer patch, this scenario may crash when you try to reload saved games. If you don't want to have to play through in one go, you will need to remove this patch.[Edited on 03/19/08 @ 11:23 AM]
