This is a fictionalized account of a band of missionarie's attempt to flee the Pict-overrun scotland to Hadrian's wall, where they will make their final stand against the barbarians.
-This scenario uses my "Scotland" map, which can be found in the Real World Map section.
"Before Roman Great Britan fell, there was a crusade to convert the pagans in Scandinavia. At the time this was launched, roman propaganda had discieved most Romans into thinking that Rome was still in all of it's glory..."
This map is obviously about the Roman Britain, but this map is more about that. Its about a rescue mission, a infiltration, and much much more...
Playability: 4.5
Yes, the reason why this review took a while. For MY standard this was pretty hard, rescuing the commander took me a while, then bringing the artifacts back. Yes pretty much a good chalenge.
Balance: 4
It was hard, because I couldnt find any extra men.. until I found the villagers ;) For me it was too hard but I got to it.
What really pissed me off was that the VC's didnt work ! I did exactly what it said and I still couldnt win. About to give up, I checked the the diplomacy tab.. and there it was the allied victory button was ticked !!!

This is really good!! I really like the idea where you have to patch up the missing wall pieces (Would you mind if I use that idea??)
Although this default scotland template was your own work, I was hoping to see a new map however this didnt affect me much.
Map Design: 4.5
Excelent! I love the map design here, with some pretty neat eyecandy and some nice terrain rendering. The author has done a lot to make this map interesting. But some areas look fairly plain, but not to worry ;)
Story/Instructions: 5
Yes, this map is a fictional campaign, but Dean did put a history section up for us, giving us a bit of background information on the Pics and tribes. The VC's were clear as well and the storyline was well made. I really enjoyed reading the story. A bit short though :P

One problem you have to remember. Never put your Allied Victory on, as it stuffs up the VC's.
A lesson learnt by The Dark Archer, (did the same mistake)
