Playability: 2
I was very bored playing this map, I grow tired of seeing senseless maps, alot of areas with nothing going on in them, the author just shoves a big group of soldiers in one area. It isn't at all fun.
Balance: 2
Poor balance. You were given a great advantage with the group of bastilla's from the start anyway, while you were excepted to have enough troops to totally wipe out the enemy without needing to train a single troop.
Creativity: 1
There is nothing creative about generating a map and stuffing on a bunch of random units, the scenario could have been alot better if the level was original and had the player be attacked and have to build an army of his own while defending and salvaging resources.
Map Design: 1
The map design was poor, the first level, merely a generated map with slight edits.
Story/Instructions: 1.2
The instructions were written poorly, failing to capture the audience. They could have been improved if the author had taken more time into making better, more interesting sentances.
Additional Comments:
Basicly you lack the experience to talor a great AOE map. If you learn to create your own map's and be more creative, you'll far improve from this one.
Best of luck.

Thnx for the info.
This is my first try at making something. I know everything lacks badly, but in the future I'll try and make my own maps for it. I might even change everything and add some more building structures.
Also I was only testing it to make sure there were some problems to fix. I'll get around to fixing those problems and making it more enjoyable.
Again thanks for the info.[Edited on 01/16/07 @ 11:46 AM]

If you are wondering.I am creating a version 1.1 with a new updated map. So far there is only one and I still need to tweak some things on it when I do post it please tell me if there is a problem. I'll get around to fixing it as soon as possible.
Thanks,

I havnt Downloaded your map yet, I will sooner or later, when I first started my map I thought I was good, I never heard about this site. One day I found out about this place, and decided to post my map thinking it will be the top and the best one. I went on, and looked at the granary..I was like oh my god.. I went and downloaded a map I couldnt remember its name, and it was 50x better than mine.
Im not saying your like that or something, before you "update it" Take a look around the site, look at the tricks and other maps, you will find what I mean.
Not meaning to offend you,

(2.5 is considered average relative to original AoE campaign experience)
Playability: 1.5
(Insert Playability analysis here)
The playability wasn't that great. For example in the third scenario all you have to do is wait for about thirteen seconds and you win... no matter what, you will win.
Balance: 2
(Insert Balance analysis here)
Not so good balance. I thought the last scenario was rather good, but the rest were strange and had errors.
Creativity: 2.5
(Insert Creativity analysis here)
Creativity I thought was ok. You tried different types of things, and your effort for creativity wasn't bad. It just needs more time to get better.
Map Design: 2.7
(Insert Map Design analysis here)
2.5 is the rating I give maps which remind me of the quality of random maps in the scenario builder. These tend to have a lot more resources then necessary and tend to be very basic without many complexities. Of coures, your last map had some pluses relative to the stronghold of the opponent.
Story/Instructions: 1.5
(Insert Story/Instructions analysis here)
Not much here. You should have dropped the story line all together and called it a list of scenarios to play... In fact, i would personally drop or modify every single one of the except the last one. The instructions, however, did have some uniqueness to them, and some level of creativity (even if there were a few victory condition flaws - such as scenario III).
Additional Comments:
First scenario was somewhat ok but rather easy (and the pathway to the island doesn't work so you either have to use your village and wait forever to advance an age or two, or you wait until a transport hopefully brings the last leader over), the second scenario was poor in that it could easily be won with just the three ships and the hereo - maybe a few other characters to survive a few shots of a tower before getting to the relatively easy victory location. The third scenario was nothing. Start it and wait about thirteen seconds without pushing anything and you automatically win. The final scenario was nice and by far the best of all the scenarios, though the objective was slightly flawed. You can hold the artifact for 2000 years to win. The biggest plus to this level is the time limit and the difficult approach of the stronghold. The large amount of military units, if you choose to try to use them all, is actually a huge disadvantage here because they make travel in the stronghold more difficult.
Anyways. Make sure you test the scenarios first before you add them. And if you are going to bother with a story, make it grab the attention of the player and also connect with the game in a signifcant way.
I saw signs of potential in your creativity, just lack of effort to actualize the full potential.[Edited on 12/05/07 @ 04:10 AM]
