This is my latest attempt at submitting a campaign. I have taken reviews from my other campaigns into consideration and have:
* tried to balance starting troops and resources
* add some eye candy
* create a good story
I also created all the maps from scratch, so there is no random map stuff in any scenario.
As usual, I accept all comments, suggestions, etc. If there is anything I can do to improve this, please tell me.
This campaign may not be up to the same standards as AoEHeavens top campaigns, but please try and enjoy it nonetheless. |

Playability: 1.6
Perhaps above all other things- this campaign was NOT fun to play. Taking a large army through a desert pathed forest and then killing any yellow unit in site was the base of any scenairo in this campaign. Very little intrest to be found here... Even with some mixes of gameplay, it still turned out to be the same lame game-kill all "Episilon". Oftentimes this took awhile and really killed your eyes... There were no special tricks or dynamics here aswell... Perhaps a look at the Siege Workshop, anyone? While some scenairos were a bit more developed than others (in particular the last 2) all in all, not much fun to be had here. Typical new desginer stuff.
Balance: 2
All scenairos could be beaten, and most of them easily--a few took some slight micromanagement. Either way, this campaign was far too easily beaten, mainly due to the lack of an enemy base that would train troops. All that was needed was to force your army in, kill everything, and then progress. The last two scenairos took a bit more thought, focusing more on a balanced B&D than a fixed force rush. Overall, far too easily beaten.
Creativity: 1.5
Sadly, not even the names of the tribes here are original. Everything here is as bland as it could possibly be... The map, the SAME objective nearly every time, and the short cheesy story. No gameplay tricks whatsoever, and if it weren't for some mixes in gameplay (FF, B&D for most though) this WOULD be as bland as it could be. For instance, in the scenairo 5, I am told to "disrupt a farming organization" while the game isn't won till I KILL EVERYTHING. Honestly, take some more time...
Map Design: 1.2
Straight dirt paths through forests, grass, trees, resources, and water. And an occasional enemy base or home city. As dull to the eye as it gets...
Story/Instructions: 2.6
While the story was always far too short and the aftermath was very short aswell, it wasn't quite the complete bottom of the barrel and was thankfully there. The instructions are given (usually some variation on kill all enemies) and an acceptable amount of hints are given. The last scenairo had a more developed story and was a bit interesting. Overall, just some more work to be acceptable
Additional Comments: Typical new designer stuff, I wouldn't download. The last scenairo however was a bit better, and shows some progression in designing. I'll be looking forward to your next campaign!
