If you know what is Rising Tide you won't have problem playing this scenario. There is a big sea, narrow sea belts to move to the opposite beach. There are two teams (4-4 allies) who don't like each other and you must destroy the four puffing guys on the opposite beach with your 3 allies. But don't wait much more extras (space ships, trade workshops or sunk temples): this is a nice Rising Tide Scenario with classic battle equipments and no more.

Differences to old Rising Tide versions (made by Ensemble Studios): the map is bigger so it will take a long time for enemies to find each other and start combat (if they find each other at all) on the one hand, but they will have the time for developing themself on the other hand. That means the game is less racy or more boring than the original Rising Tide (especially at starting), but defeating your enemies is much harder and you must prepare for more bad surprises (E.g. I couldn't imagine before playing this scenario that Chariot Archers would be serious antagonists of Triremes but I had to learn that).



I corrected the map in some locations where little misconceptions prohibited the CP's too much in their moving or building.

There is a problem in my tests Palmyrans (team2, player 5) don't do anything serious, only cutting woods. Maybe they need to be changed to an other civ.
