This is the latest of my creations, and i thought that it was my best, so i wanted to share it with people. In it, you are a king that is seeking revenge on the man that destroyed your mighty empire, and you must also find your lost units on the way to help you against his and other armies. But you do have some allies to help you in your fight, and you must also re-discover your lost city of Babyloniain your quest. I wish you the best of luck, and really hope you enjoy my scenario/campaign. *one other note, my inspiration for this level was the expretly made "When In Rome" campaign, so once again, enjoy! |

Wow, so far I have been walking and the years are passing me by. I find a few units here and there, it seems like a build up game. occasionally there pops up some troops. I have not reached the first target yet, I think I will save this one for a rainy day. Nice clean graphics with many interesting units(placements). I would off the bat recommend for such a big map some elevation changes, to keep our mind of the long yearly exploration treks OR give me some of that there fine gold stuff so I can use it in a making Goverment Center work to my advantage(see). |

thanks man
Can't expect alot, cause its my first submitted level.
im working on more levels right now, and looking up more map tricks and cool designs online, trying to learn how to make my maps look better.
*I did put in gold mines to mine later on, and villagers to mine them, but not in the beginning, cause if i did you'd be able to make as many priests as you wanted too early.
**There are a few priests to find earlier on. check everywhere for people[Edited on 07/23/06 @ 01:55 PM]

Whoops.
As i was just going through all of the RoR campaigns for possible download candidates, i have come across another babylonian conquest, much earlier submitted than mine. Ah well, im very sorry to creator of that for stealing the name, but it wasnt really stealing, as i had no prior knowledge that such a campaign existed.
Once again, my apologies.
Also check out my new campaign that i recently submitted, as it's far superior to this campaign in every way =) |

Playability: 3
A captivating single scenario campaign that starts off slow and gradually picks up the pace. This is a game of length and patience; so don’t try to rush this campaign. I had a great time completing the objectives as they were well spaced out and gave you time to gather your thoughts before moving on. Giving my mind a chance to relax I would not hesitate when playing this again.
Balance: 3
There is more than one way to become victorious with this campaign I’m sure, yet you would have to be ready for a long haul to find out. Rushing gets you killed, so as I said take your time. As for challenging it ranks right up there. I enjoy a good lengthy game if the objectives are worth completing and you are not just building to destroy.
Creativity: 3.5
A game that I found very creative. From trying to find the proper route to rescue your friend or trying to bring the war chest or artifact home so a not to fail, I was always ready for something to happen.
Map Design: 3
Although this campaign has no bit map I feel that if it did it would have given away too much of the scenery. You have to travel and keep your wits about you. The scenario map was fairly good. Good use of cliffs to semi isolate yourself and other tribes. I found it interesting that if you chopped here or there you opened a new path. Clear paths to follow and lots of forest to clear.
Story/Instructions: 2.5
Story is very short, about a paragraph and you don’t really get a feel for it. I found this to be the only shortcoming of the whole campaign. You know what you have to do, as the instructions are clear. Once you start to play is does not matter about the story as you are drawn into the game itself.
Additional Comments:
Enjoyable campaign and would definitely download it again. That said I think everyone should give it a go.[Edited on 08/21/06 @ 03:00 PM]

IICDO are you sure that you gave the correct scores? I'm asking because words like "magnificiant" or "wonderful" or "great" sound to me like a 5.0. Instead the score this campaign reached was "only" moderate. A bit contradictious, don't you think? |

Right you are. I always review my reviews to see if I have given proper marks for what I have written. Maybe “magnificent” was too strong of a word to use. I humbly beg your pardon. |

No worries. I totally agree. this campaign wasnt "magnificent" or "wonderful" in any way, shape, or form. It was basically a glorified noob campaign, imo. But yay for me, i've improved :) |
