These ARE NOT BLANK TEMPLATES. These are generally speaking-multiplayer scenarios shaped on real world locations. I'd have to say I was somewhat dissapointed with the maps themselves, but the author made some serious effort to make these playable RM or Multiplayer style, and frankly, most of the time it works on SP, and on MP these are sure to be a blast. Otherwise speaking, these are good scenarios, and not too great for much else. There's too much on the maps already for the most part to be used as flexible templates. The Author may have wanted to include blank maps that had all the terrain and detail without the civs and such. I wouldn't let that put you off however. The author adds instructions on how to play in different settings and such-some of which I'd say are quite interesting.
The maps are good in some cases and and bland and disproportioned (is that a word?) in others. It really all depends on which one your looking at. However, since there are 10 in total with different variations on each one, there's bound to be one that you'll like, so I'd say give it a go. You shouldn't be disapointed.
