OK, I admit it, I totally forgot to review this campaign even though I planned to. Sorry about that. However, better late than never. ;)
"Ways of the Brotherhoods" is a great single-scenario-campaign which will grab you until you finished it.
Playability: 4.5
Playing was fun as heck. You start with General Lie Xie, a priest and have to convert villagers to build up and do a number of tasks. That sounds like it was a cheap ripoff from "Holy Man", the first Babylonia scenario, but it's a lot better than that one. There is a whole bunch of stuff to do, and it never gets boring. It took me about 6 hours (gaming time at 3x speed) to play through, and I can't think of a better use for that time.
Balance: 4.7
This campaign is balanced in a great way. It gets harder the more objectives you achieve, and thus it doesn't get boring like in many other scenarios where it gets too easy after the start. The last enemy was too difficult to beat though, infact, I found it impossible. I had nearly used up my gold pile, and thus had to use chariots against Carth centurions with 200 hitpoints. It wasn't beautiful to watch. Wave after wave of chariots got slaughtered without doing the reds and orangies a single scratch, and so I gave up. Otherwise it was greatly balanced though.
Creativity: 4.7
The convert-villagers-and-build-up thing has been there quiet often, but still, this campaign is very creative. The objectives vary, and so does the player's approach to winning.
Map Design: 4.5
I was a bit unsure what rating to give here. Borruma has spent a lot of effort on the map, but the ugly rise of rome trees/grass patches kind of mess up what could've been beautiful if the original game was used, and some places are just unrealistic. Still, I think it deserves a 4.5, as I've seen far worse.
Story/Instructions: 4.2
The story was logical and understandable, however, it had some typos and grammatical errors. Apart from that the bitmap was lacking. Good hints though.
Additional Comments:
"Ways of the Brotherhoods" has some flaws, but those get outranged by great gameplay and balance aswell as solid objectives and a sense-making story. Good work.

Ways of the Brotherhoods is an Asiatic fiction scenario originally from the Snakeeye's Contest. If you haven't downloaded from the contest sections before, I suggest you give them a look.
Playability: 4
The scenario is great fun, with interesting and challenging objectives and bonus objectives. It divides itself into chapters, as you must complete each challenge before you can really move onto the next.
You begin with only a priest, and you must convert from the friendly tribe to get villagers. However, you're under attack very early on, so it's no opportunity to take it slowly. Defending against and then attacking the Wanderers is tough, but on top of that you need to accumulate gold in time for a tribute. And that's just the first part of the mission.
The pace can be a bit hard to get used to at first, and playing alongside the loyal ally is a little weird at times, as your towers etc tend to shoot them whenever you need to make a conversion. Once you get used to the mission it will be hard to stop playing, and you'll feel a good sense of achievement by the end.
Strangely I found I didn't win at the end, but I can't figure out why, everything in the editor seemed to be in order.
Balance: 5
Every stage of the mission is difficult, requiring both good execution, and a lot of reloading, along with planning to get the right strategy. All in all it was balanced emtremely well.
Creativity: 5
Strong creativity in all areas. The map design was especially creative with a very unique look everywhere you went. The story is almost fantasy, and the objevtives and other things going on in the mission like diplomacy changes are great.
Map Design: 4.5
Map design is very nice, with a unique look and plenty of eye candy. At first it looks a little bit messy but I quickly adjusted to it and quite liked it. A little more care with placement in those areas that don't quite look right would make it perfect.
Story/Instructions: 4.5
A creative and detailed story is told, along with extensive instructions, optional objectives and hints. The only thing lacking here is a bitmap, a noticable omission.
Overall: 4.6
