It is time for Alexander the Great to destroy Babylon! Smash the wall down and rip down their town centre.A mod-hard scenario for the experienced player. This will test your strategy! Please tell me what you think.more to come!
This scenario is a fairly standard fixed force battle. Alexander invades Babylon, that’s about it.
Playability: 2
Very cliché, I must have played a few of these by now. There are many fixed force battles like this, and their unoriginality begins to hinder playability. Nothing really stood out, it is just plain conquest.
Balance: 2
Very easy to win, but very easy to lose as well. If you can hold on to your overwhelming urge to run right into the city and get owned, you’ll have little trouble gobbling up their army to win. Just play it cool and let them come to you one by one. The strategic side of this mission is very basic. You just have to control the shallows areas (choke points) to win. This is one of the simpler skills to learn. One thing I did like was that you lose if Alexander dies, something some designers seem to forget about.
Creativity: 1
This mission is an example of how NOT to be creative. It has basically all the default settings, conquest, only two players etc. The theme of Alexander is very common too. There is no historical perspective, nothing in the way of victory conditions or eye candy. The level needs some creativity above all else.
Map Design: 2
All I saw to avoid a 1 was an area where the shallows were like water, and some chariots ran across and surprised my catapults. Not bad, but it will take a lot more than that. Look at some good maps and work out the rules of making an area stand out.
Story: 2
The story was weak, very weak. It had about 2 sentences, each a few words. At least it was something Alexander actually did (I think). Pretty boring though. The hints section would have been better empty than saying “use strategic skills to win”.
Overall: Not worth the download unless you’re fairly new, most gamers who download from here would have played at least one clone of this level. I would encourage the designer to try again, but definitely learning from the mistakes of this level.

If you like a Scenario were the enemies town is infested with units then thisones for you.
There was a condition that Alexander must not die.
Balance: 1.9
I dont see how stradegy is any diffrent in this scenario. Stradegy is the key to all scenarios be it puzzle or whatnot. There was nothing to this. your herd of catapults could easily kill a bunch of units in his city.
Creativity: 1
There was no creativity here. The map a Random map and there was literally no story. The objectives wernt creative either, Destroy the Town Centre.
Map Design: 1.2
There was nothing done to this Random map besides simple Building of a town. There was no eyecandy.
Story/Instructions: 1
The Instructions Literally read:
Utterly Destroy Babylon
Alaxander must not die.
Not even Alexander was spelt correctly.

I hope the creator wasnt serious about his 'more to come' comment.....
