Much like the arena map in AOK, this plays quite well. The setting is a hollowed forest with walls around each player to protect them from the raging battle outside... Not a bad idea? Frankly this quite fun to play in SP, and certainly would be fun to play in MP. More or less, this is a deathmatch starting in Tool Age, with walls and some other goodies on the map here and there. Somewhat of a change, but once you really get moving, you won't notice much of a difference. Nevertheless, more fun than a random map. Decently done.
There are extra things players must look over here in this scenario, such as for example once your resources run out. You'll have to find a way to control the big pile of gold in the middle if you want to win. Not to mention walls give players different ideas of advancing into enemy territory... Blast right through or poke through the hole in the middle? Each player also has equal opportunities to win.
Cut to the chase, this had just enough in it to call it a good change from a random map. Walls, a hollowed out forest, and resource goodies on the map give it what it needs. The author looks like to have put enough work in here.
Map Design: 3.3
For a multiplayer game, this is certainly good enough as it is. It looks somewhat like a random map, along with a few special little atrtributes to raise the score. Decent enough as it is.
Nothing. There isn't really any instruction needed for a multiplayer scenario of this type, but he/she really should have put at least something... Oh well. For maps like these it's more of an optional thing, so I'll give it a tilt anyway.
Additional Comments:Download if you want. Decent enough to play.
