This is a medium length build and destroy campaign with very little to make it stand out, or even make it worth playing.
Playability: 2
I found the whole thing quite boring. I've played a dozen poor campaigns similar to this, it was just a case or build and destroy or fixed force over and over. There was nothing to draw me into the campaign like good maps or a story.
Creativity: 2
Better than the last campaign I played by this author, there was one piece of eye candy that I noticed, and one or two slightly good victory conditions. In one scenario there was a bonus victory condition of destroying a messenger, a nice touch, but probably the highlight of a dull campaign. Needs to go in new directions.
Balance: 1
I honestly doubt anyone can find a challenge in this. All missions were very similar, there needs to be a balance of styles, like diplomacy and puzzle, rpg, defend etc. Every mission either has too many troops or too many resources
Map Design: 2
Virtually non existant, it seems like you are playing in a timeless void. Random maps would be better, however I did see some bone eye candy, so here, have a point for that
Story: 2
Despite adequate instructions the story was about 100 atoms thick. It had no explanation besides "Hey, we're gonna go fight the enemy, because they are the enemy, and they are red. And we are gonna go fight them."
Overall: 1.8
Unless you like easy, plain and very cliche fixed force and B&D style missions, this one can be given a miss.
Also consider:
If you want to play campaigns like this, try the ES ones that come with the game. They are generally pretty similar, but of a much higher quality. |

I played a campaign by the same person a few days ago. Hopefully this ones better eh?
Playability: 1.0
Poor replay value. You can try a random map instead of this, which is much better then the scenarios featured here.
Balance: 1.0
Nobody will find this challenging. Thiis is by far the easiest campaign I have played. Too many troops, too many resources.
Creativity: 1.5
Like Richard mentioned, it was a nice touch to the game where you have the option of killing a messanger. Other than that, it was a bit pathetic.
Map Design: 1.3
There was one eye-candy I saw: bones. Apart from that, there was nothing. No bridges, no swamps...just random maps and poorly edited custom ones.
Story/Instructions: 1.0
At the start, you have to kill your allies because we think they are trying to kill us. But, theres no reason why they are...it's poorly explained.
Fianl Comments
Another bad campaign. I don't think I have much else to say.
Download: If you like a bit of a joke, yes. In the end, you're better off playing with marbles at the beach.[Edited on 03/15/08 @ 09:02 PM]
