This is a great little campaign, telling a fiction story set in ancient Japan about the legacy of the Ishiyama clan.

Playability: 4

The first two scenarios are fun B&D style missions, with restrictions to enhance balance. Strategy is always paramount, and you’ll need great tactics to finish the third scenario, which combines many styles

Balance: 4

The enemies are always one step ahead of you. You have to wall them out, you have to make do with what you have, and you finally start to kick ass just to find out you have exhausted all your gold. But you’ll still want to play again.

Creativity: 4

A strong story, all totally made up, mixed with very distinctive, non generic map design and good victory conditions, parameters and limitations

Map Design: 4

Very creative and detailed, but lacking a little in eye candy. Occasionally the map has a few bugs that make things harder, but trust me, there’s always a solution. Resources are placed with precision. A little more eye candy would boost the score.

Story: 4

A good story, strong narrative. Clear instructions and great use of hints. I found the story a little short, but most will find it just right. Bitmaps would make a nice finishing touch.

Download this if you want a good fiction campaign that requires plenty of tactics, but won’t take you years to finish.
