Description: Its just a water map with a square of land on each corner of the map. You have a house, 2 Guard Towers, a Ballista Tower and 3 docks. There is a hidden Easter Egg hidden somewhere on the map. You have 999999 of every resource so you shouldn't run out of resources fast :) . The main idea is to defeat your enemies towers, then docks and house, and of course, the ships. You also have to guard your own little base as well. Please don't tease me, this is my first scenario. If you like it please email me.
As stated all in the description above, it's overtly simple and could have been made within minutes. You've got yourself a dock, a house a 3 towers. The other 3 chaps are in the same boat as you. Not suprsingly, the playing of the game is ruined by two things i.e. 1, 1 house, 4 ships. That's far too few, small battles on a large map are rather tedious. It does add to strategy in some ways, but all in all I'd go for 12 or 8 ships, as 4 is far too small. 2, overtly simple gameplay. The map looks exactly as the author states. The easter egg is 6 docks. Woo-hoo? Not so much. This just doesn't have enough to offer and would be a waste of time in MP.
The game is won more or less on who is the most defensive. While sitting around in corners of a huge map doesn't accomplish anything, any throw-outs are likely to be bashed. This does get some marks, though, since there are a few small devisable plans, mainly using triemes with some good mousework, to stick it to any opponent. More or less, the more evasive and sneaky, the more likely you are to win. With 4 ships, eveyone has a very equal opportunity to win. Unfortunately, due to the overall simplicity of the game, it's not even worth going for this one.
Could have been made within minutes. I do appreciate the pop cap stubber with no villagers, it does make for a different game. Other than that, there isn't anything unique or noteworthy about the map or gameplay.
Map Design: 1.1
Blank sea, towers, docks. Pure brilliance. +.1 cos this is a MP map. So blank it could blind you...
For an overall tilt, this could have been made within seconds and simply does not have enough to offer even for an MP game. My apologies to the author, but there isn't a reason for downloading this.
