Playability: 1.5
You start in the stone age with a Town center, 4 villagers, a tame lion and Jason aswell as a Blind Lame Priest stranded on an island (I don't really get why, but who cares). You have several objectives, most of them pretty dull ones like kill the "executors", get 4000 gold, research iron age and build a wonder. The area around has dozens of evil animals. Would've been a good thing, if the enemy area did not have those aswell. The animals kill of all of the computers villagers, and all he has left is a tame lion, and Jason and a Blind Lame Priest on an island which can be easily killed by the Persian Triremes. But wait, it gets even better. One of the objectives is to make 15 conversions. YAY! The enemy has three units, and I am going to make 15 conversions! YAY! So, to sum it all up, this scenario was untested and is impossible.
Balance: 1.5
Once you get the start right (which isn't all too difficult), you can kill of the animals with elephants, aswell as what's left of the red player. I couldn't complete it, as I don't have a clue how to make 15 conversions when the enemy has only three units.
Creativity: 2.5
The usage of animal kings was a little break from all those lame random mapish scenarios I reviewed lately, but it was not really creative. The map design was way too basic, the story totally lacked and overall it was not really creative.
Map Design: 2
Very random-mapish. It was not a random map, but it pretty much looked similiar. To the shoreline desert palms were added which look not bad.
Story/Instructions: 1.8
As I viewed the history section, it told me "You really looked at this? Congrats, you are weird!", which I found ridiculous. The story was lacking, I had no clue why I was doing all this stuff like build a wonder and such, or what Jason and that Blind Lame Priest were doing on that island, etc. There were only few spelling errors though, and the objectives were clear.
Additional Comments:
Not really worth the download, due to lack of testing. Not much work was put into map design, story was not there, and the scenario was impossible to beat.
