This scenario is good fun if you enjoy puzzle, like me.
The scenario doesn’t really take on any form other than puzzle. Most of the time you are trying to find out how to get to the next area of the map, which usually results in capturing new Gaia units and moving on to the next step.
I found it challenging, but I’m sure most people could finish it too. In fact, I didn’t actually manage to finish it, but I got close enough so I don’t mind. I’ll just warn you that you will need some villagers or a heavy catapult at the end, so don’t lose them. Overall a good range of puzzles and plenty of play time.
Making a puzzle scenario is one of the hardest styles to do, and requires a lot of thought. While some of the puzzles are simple, plenty of time has gone into the overall map, making it fit in, and creating original map design and challenges.
Map Design: 4
While a little “built around the puzzles”, the map is solid and functional, with creativity and eye candy
Adequate instructions, but the small story is a little forced. There isn’t any epic tale behind this one, but it’s a nice scenario all the same.
