You are Chief Priest Markison and must make you're annual pilgrimage to Galee at all costs, or Galee will be destroyed by the evil Lord Mihl. However, that very many is holding you captive in Cliff Fort Jail. This is a dead hard scenario which should take many attempts to complete. Multiplayer also : No
I enjoyed this scenario a bit. There isn't that much to it, basically just solving a puzzle, finding a way out of prison, that is.
Balance: 2
The puzzle itself I found quite hard. I was thinking of ways to use the BLP, trying to take out walls while the towers fired on buildings etc. One of my ideas, converting a legion, may have worked, although getting him to the temple would be very hard. Ultimitely is was painfully simple what to do, and once figured out there was no more challenge than walking to the temple. Good puzzle, but since the difficulty evaporates there and then I don't think balance is that good.
Creativity: 3
For a puzzle the scenario deserves a few points. There isn't much else to speak of in this area, besides a fairly creative story.
Map Design: 2
The map is basically a RM with less elevations. The city design is average. The task after breaking out of prison is fairly dull and with 24 villies and clubmen I found it easy to find the temple. Puzzle itself is a good map design trick.
Story/Instructions: 3
The story was quite good, although it didn't really have any room to develop in such a short scenario. The instructions though were quite poor. There was no real instruction/hint on getting out of the prison, and a bitmap type picture was included with the file, but not added to the scenario! The objective is to capture the temple (Gaia), so technically you yourself can even remain in prison the whole time.
Overall: 2.6
Perhaps worth a look if you really want to see the puzzle.
