Playability: 3.5
"Dark Paradise" is a well-done twist on a 1v4 RM game. You play as the Suareagians, on your giant resource filled square in the middle of the map. There are two passages into the square---one on the south end, and one on the north end. You fight against your 4 enemies---all with names pertaining to their personalities and unit choice---who are all allied and will hammer you from right when they find you. Considering I've never known I could hold off so many allied CPs before, this was quite an experience. A great challenge with it's own interesting touches, this game is a fairly fun one to play.

Balance: 3.5
This one is tricky, and the unexperienced RM player will find this difficult. Your square is easily defendable, and you have some tame lions to keep you safe in the very early stages of the game. Taking advantage of your civ (Roman) and how difficult it is to get in your square, you can keep the enemy out of your square for a while if you play your card right. After awhile this just sort of translates into the typical "hide and seek" that many of the "hardest" level difficulty RMs will go into. Overall, very good balance.

Creativity: 3.4
The map setup is the main prize here. Never before did I know I could take on so many CPs... Interesting. The map's looks are great, and the way each computer's personality is explained really appeals to me to. The tame lions were also a nice touch. This may be a lot like an RM game, but it has it's own special attributes.

Map Design: 3.6
Very good. The map looks very nice on the mini-map, and the enemy civs are located in places that suit them. The Mounataineers, for example, are in a cliffed up and hilly area. Gaia trees and roads are included in some parts of the map, and overall this map just looks great. See for yourself. Excellent for it's age.

Story/Instructions: 2.8
Decent storyline and instructions. Personally I like how the author explained each civilization's personality. Bad aftermaths and no bitmap keep this average, however.

Additional Comments: A decent game that would be fun to play by most. I'd reccomend this.
