Playability: 3.5
There are no bugs in the scenarios, but since they were pretty easy, it's not all that great. Still, you can always do something useful, so that it never turns out to be boring or something. Solid work.
Balance: 3
The author already mentiones that this campaign is easy and this is exactly what you get. You can't rush through it without thinking, but if you play carefully, you won't even lose a unit in most scenarios.
Creativity: 3.5
You have allies and some nice adds here and there. Sometimes you are able to build a base, sometimes you have to fight with only your starting forces.
Map Design: 3.5
The maps really look pretty well - as long as you don't look aside of your path where everything is huge forest brush, usually. The towns are nicely placed with single trees between the houses, simple desert paths. Yet, there are no trees on cliffs, no grass patches nor is there any eye candy.
Story/Instructions: 3
Yet another story about the evil Roman Empire invading any remote part of the world. *yawn* Most of the story is written in dialogues, which I like, though. the map is some world adapted a little to fit the scenarios.
There are no hints, no history, and most times, the instructions are not made explicit.
Additional Comments:
download recommendation: Up to you. It's an easy campaign, but well done.
